Bel Air Law Firm, P.C. is a premiere boutique corporate law firm representing entrepreneurs, high net-worth individuals, family offices, privately held and public companies, investment advisors and FDIC-insured financial institutions in a wide array of commercial transactions.
Our attorneys are educated at America's top law schools, trained at America's most prestigious international law firms, and seasoned through in-house roles at major financial institutions. Our clients benefit from the expertise of big-law lawyers at a fraction of big-law rates because our firm is nimble and lien, we keep our overhead low, and we harness legal technologies in the management of our firm and in the representation of our clients.
Our client's business objectives drive our legal representation. During our tenures as in-house counsel, we often worked with, or across from, outside counsel who had lost sight of the "big picture." We differentiate ourselves by concentrating on our client’s goals and focusing our advocacy towards achieving them. Moreover, our professionals think creatively to find solutions to our clients’ challenges; we seek to find and capitalize on the "grey" when others see only black and white.
Your success is our mission. We look forward to working with you.
A Premiere Boutique Corporate Law Firm
Trusted Counsel to the Business Community
The following are summary descriptions of our core practice areas. We have preferred relationships with attorneys in other practice areas, such as litigation, workers compensation, and intellectual property, whom we seamlessly rely on to address legal issues outside of our core competencies.
Specialty Finance is our bread and butter. We regularly represent (i) fintech companies and other non-bank originators of financial products and (ii) private equity firms, hedge funds and other financial institutions providing capital to such originators. We have extensive experience structuring and negotiating asset-based loan facilities (a.k.a. "warehouse lines") collateralized by pools of homogenous or semi-homogenous collateral assets such as small business loans, factored receivables and merchant cash advances, consumer loans, auto warranty contracts, patents and licensing rights, mortgage loans and SFR properties, non-performing loans, microloans in emerging markets, and structured settlements.
Outside GC Services
Our Outside General Counsel Services are utilized by (i) rapidly growing companies without any in-house attorneys who need regular legal support and (ii) established businesses who have in-house lawyers, but periodically need an additional attorney on the in-house team, especially when the in-house team is stretched thin as a result of absences or significant corporate activity.
